Meet Melanie Robinson

Nutritional Therapy Practitioner | Founder of Revolution-Nutrition

Most people who come to me aren’t looking for another diet.

They’re tired.

They feel “off.”

They’ve tried doing everything right — and their body still isn’t responding.

I work one-on-one with women who are struggling with energy, weight changes, blood sugar instability, stress, and the lingering effects of chronic under-fueling — especially those who want to understand why their body feels stuck instead of masking symptoms with another quick fix.

My approach is investigative, personalized, and deeply human.

Before entering the nutrition field, I spent over 14 years in law enforcement, including eight years as a detective. My job was to look beyond surface-level explanations, identify patterns, and uncover root causes — skills I now bring into my work as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner.

But this work is also personal.

Like many people who grew up in the 90s, I entered adulthood with little guidance around food or health. I became a teen mom, gained significant weight during pregnancy, and spent years cycling through restrictive diets that never addressed the full picture. I also watched my father suffer devastating complications from type 2 diabetes and heart failure before passing away at just 63 years old — an experience that permanently shaped how I view health and prevention.

Later, while outwardly appearing “healthy,” I hit another breaking point. Years of chronic stress, poor sleep, PTSD, anxiety, and burnout took a toll that no amount of willpower or exercise could fix. Eventually, I made the difficult decision to medically retire from a career I loved — losing not just a job, but a sense of identity.

That loss became a turning point.

Through my training with the Nutritional Therapy Association, I finally understood how nutrition, stress, sleep, environment, and genetics interact to either support or destabilize the body. For the first time, health made sense — not as discipline or perfection, but as physiology.

Today, my mission is to help others do what I had to learn the hard way: listen to their body, understand its signals, and respond with the right support.

At Revolution Nutrition, I take a personalized, root-cause approach. Using comprehensive assessments and bio-individual analysis, I help clients uncover hidden imbalances and build sustainable nutrition and lifestyle strategies that support real, lasting change.

If you’re dealing with fatigue, weight changes, blood sugar issues, chronic stress, or simply feel disconnected from your body — you’re not broken, and you’re not alone.

You don’t need another rule.

You need understanding.

And that’s where we begin.

Are you ready to begin your journey?

Let’s start your revolution.

My Expertise and Approach

I focus on supporting the Foundations of Health in order to optimize your wellness.

Whole, thoughtfully prepared, foods are a source of joy and nourish the body with the nutrients it needs to thrive.

What we eat has little impact if we can’t digest and absorb the nutrients. Proper digestive function is essential for the health of every cell and system.

From energy balance, metabolism, and inflammation to hormone production and mental health, blood sugar regulation is crucial to maintaining wellness.

Adequate, quality sleep is essential for optimal physiological and cognitive function.

We cannot always control our stressors, but managing our response to stress has profoundly positive physical and mental impacts on health.
